Dan Mendelson

Dan Mendelson is currently Managing Director of JPMorgan Chase. Previously, he founded Avalere Health in 2000, grew the firm organically as CEO, engaged ABS Capital as a minority equity partner in 2008, and sold the company to Inovalon Holdings (NASDAQ: INOV) in 2015. Dan operated Avalere as a division of Inovalon and hired a new President before departing in 2021. Prior, Dan served as Associate Director of Health at the White House Office of Management and Budget, where he was responsible for Medicare, Medicaid, discretionary budgetary policy, and the implementation of the Balanced Budget Act healthcare provisions during the Clinton Administration. He is presently on the board of Champions Oncology (NASDAQ: CSBR) and teaches at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. He previously served on the boards of Coventry Health Care (sold to Aetna in 2013), PharMerica Corporation (NYSE: PMC), HMS holdings (NASDAQ: HMSY), Centrexion, and Audacious Inquiry.
