Kevin recently retired from a 20-year career at UnitedHealth Group. Kevin held numerous leadership positions within UnitedHealth Group including chief operating officer of UnitedHealthcare, chief executive officer of the Mid-Atlantic region, and senior vice president of Enterprise Clinical Services. He also served in the dental, vision and home nursing companies. Kevin worked on a variety of integrations of UnitedHealthcare’s newly acquired companies. He also led several enterprise level performance improvement efforts such as one to improve UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage STAR ratings from 7% to 84% of members in four or more STARs. Before joining UnitedHealth Group, Kevin was vice president of operations and CFO at a subsidiary of Highmark, Inc. responsible for all provider contracting, provider relations, claims/calls and underwriting. Earlier in his career, he was COO of a large PHO and IPA, a hospital administrator in a healthcare system and a public accountant at Arthur Andersen. Kevin earned an undergraduate degree from Temple University where he is a member of the Executive Advisory Board to the president. He holds an MBA from West Chester University.
